I offer Wood Working Classes in my shop to interested individuals. I can provide 1 on 1 instruction in foundational wood working, including
basic elements of design, power tool (table saw, jointer, planer, band saw, mortiser) setup, use and safety, stock preparations of rough lumber,
layouts for joinery including dadoes, mortise and tenon, and hand-cut dovetails. Instruction is also available in the use and maintenance of sharp and well-tuned
hand tools to perform the joinery.
Hourly, daily or come for a week (accommodations on our ranch available at a discount-- see BnB link). Build a complete small project or just learn some basic techniques.
Includes the use of my tools (after some basic safety lessons) and I can supply a limited selection of wood at my cost or you can bring your own.
